This week has been off to a great start with super good energy all the way around. I did really good on my Management Theory and Practice exam and felt I was truly prepared. this class is so cool and I love my professor. Mr. Kurt Hersh is super cool and really keeps us engaged as a student when it comes to understanding the material. He treats us like we are already in our careers and teaches us based on how we'd handle situations like equity, sexual harassment and other things in our fields of choice.
Its a new day and I had work. I created some ideas for the edge and also for myself. I have a fall look book planned for my youtube agenda, a GUTV idea to engage the students with each-other and edge in general, also a documentary I would like to direct. I have a truly unique sense of style and people have been asking me to create some outfits for my channel. That doesn't really prepare me to be a publicist but it benefits my love of editing videography and photography. I also want to do a documentary on body image.
For this documentary, I want to bring people together and break down the standards placed on women to be something other than what they are. I want to get in touch with college students I know and really get to know what part society plays on how they view their body, how it makes them feel about their body, and if they wished something different for the younger generations.
I plan to talk to some of my friends of different genetic makeup and enlighten potential views and participants that this a normal universal thing that everyone struggles with. With that insight shows understanding, appreciation, and then the power in who we are and how we want to be as people.
This documentary is just in the starting stages and only a thought right now. The execution to the project will have to be structured in a way the participants can feel comfortable and allow them to become vulnerable with the camera. It will be a hard test but i a more than ready for the challenge. Catch me back here next week to see what new experiences I endure!
